We are at a pivotal point in time for ALA. Our association is facing challenges both internally and externally that need strong leadership and a collaborative effort to overcome. I have worked for the past two years on the Executive Board to make important and sometimes difficult decisions as we navigate these “streams of change.” As your ALA President, I will continue our work of transforming ALA into a more responsive and sustainable association.
